Workshop Levels

Please note if a workshop is not marked (B) for Beginner or (A) for Advanced, the workshop will accommodate All Levels. Regardless of your experience, you will be comfortable in any workshop with no designation.

Beginner: Depending on each specific description, these workshops may be enjoyed by ALL levels but are specifically beneficial to the very beginner. These workshops will provide in depth explanations relevant to all in attendance with modifications and simplified yoga poses that will be available for the newest yogis.

Advanced: These workshops are not beginner friendly and should be attended by those with a regular practice. Ideally but not necessary (unless written into the description), students attending these workshops should be capable of full backbend, headstand, shoulder stand and chaturanga.

All Levels/No "A" or "B" noted: These workshops are available to all yogis from beginner to advanced. Modifications will be offered to either increase or decrease intensity. Assistance will be available for those wanting a simpler or more complex practice. You will find that most of our workshops fit into this All Levels category.

Yoga & Buddhism (YB): This special track is designed to unravel the interconnectedness of these practices through different voices of presenters. If this is a subject that interests you, you can use the classes offered at every class time to move deeply into this subject matter. It is a totally optional track and a great topic for expanding consciousness! All Levels unless otherwise marked.

Aubrey's Picks: these are tracks created in order to expose the participant to many different teachers with a specific track in mind

Need a recommendation? If you are not sure which workshops to select, our Festival Director (& certified Jivamukti Yoga Instructor) Aubrey Hackman has created three suggested itineraries (noted below); one for beginners, one for advanced students and one for those wishing to follow specifically a buddhist track. If you are still not sure, send Aubrey an email at info@tellurideyogafestival.com and she will be happy to guide you to a schedule that is designed just for you! Aubrey is also teaching our "Yoga Basics" workshop which is open to all on Thursday 4:30-5:45pm. In this beginner specific workshop Aubrey will review basic poses and yoga terminology to help you make the most of your experience throughout the weekend.

Aubrey's Recommendations:
Beginner: A101, A108, B206, B210, C305, C308
Advanced: A103, A111, A205, B212, C306, C312
Yoga & Buddhism (YB): A107, A112, B203, B213, C303, C309 OR C312
