Annie Clark

Annie combines her background in occupational therapy and rehabilitative work with her Iyengar training to teach classes in a systematic, precise and healing way.
Annie began her studies of yoga in while in high school in the traditional Hatha style at the Satchinanda Ashrahm in Yogaville, Virginia. She continued her studies in the Ashtanga tradition studying in Mysore with Pattabi Jois and participating in Richard Freeman’s teacher trainings courses in Boulder. After moving to the Western Slope of Colorado, Annie found her wonderful Iyengar teacher Nancy Stechert. She has studied in the Iyengar system for the past 6 years and has begun the rigorous Iyengar assessment process. Annie currently specializes in pediatric occupational therapy where she combines yoga, movement and fun into sessions with children who have varying diagnoses and issues. She is also a coordinator of the area’s Autism Team where she conducts autism assessments, community outreach and assists school teams in curriculum planning.
